This Saturday, the 25th of may, the second edition of the Jap’no Car Festival is held on the Autodrome of Linas-Montlhéry. In the paddocks, nearly 600 cars and motorcycles japanese will be exposed, and thousands of visitors are expected. Two mythical models of the for Nissan are celebrating their 50 th anniversary, and will be entitled to a dedicated exhibition. The first is the coupe Z, a vehicle born under the coat of arms Datsun. The entire lineage will be exposed, the Datsun 240 Z to the current Nissan 370 Z passing by the famous 280 Z, heroine of the work of japanese “Wangan Midnight”, where it bears the nickname “Devil’s Z”.
The second machine that will be honored is the Nissan Skyline GTR, one of the most iconic models and most efficient of any production japanese. A car that allowed Nissan to stand up to the best european sports, such as Ferrari and Porsche. We will, on this occasion, admire the different generations of this automobile exception: the R32, the R33 and the R34. This family meeting will be adorned by the presence of the rare special series.

It is not known if a copy of the very first GTR, called the KPGC10, will make the move. As for the R35 GTR, is difficult to say if it will be part of this exhibition, as she never bore the name Skyline. On the track, you will be able to revel in four trays. The first is dedicated to the 50 years of the cut-Z. Unfortunately, the fiftieth anniversary of the Skyline GTR seems to be deprived of this honor. This is probably due to the rarity of the model in our lands.
The second plateau is, for the first time, dedicated to bikes (japanese) (vintage and youngtimers). The tower next track will honor the youngtimers japanese, such as the Nissan Skyline, Toyota Supra or Honda NSX. Finally, it will be the turn of sports japanese contemporary to give heart to joy, a beautiful opportunity to admire the Nissan R35 GTR, Suzuki Swift Sport, Subaru Impreza or Mazda MX-5 of the last generation.
By the end of the day, participants and enthusiasts-registered to take part in a gigantic parade, a real institution at the Autodrome of Linas-Montlhéry. Three performances of “drift”, a discipline dear to the Japanese, will also take place on the ring. The guest of the day, the “drifteuse” Séverine Meunier, will provide a part of the show. Three Nissan Silvia (type S14) were prepared especially for this occasion. For the amateurs of strong sensations, the four Honda Civic Type R will be made available for baptisms of track as a passenger.
