“to Make the world a better place.” Five years after the death of the Nobel peace prize (died on December 5, 2013), the call of Nelson Mandela continues to resonate in the minds of free men. In this year of celebration of the centenary of his birth, the hotel One & Only Cape Town pays tribute to him with a new cultural circuit combining historical heritage, memorial, and contemporary creation. This six-day journey enlightens the travelers on the life of Mandela, his legacy, and on current developments in South Africa. It starts at the hotel Saxon (partner of the event) in the district of Sandhurst in Johannesburg, where Nelson Mandela found refuge to write his autobiography long walk to freedom.
