The interior of the C5 Aircross is more agreed upon, and, if it does not suffer from faults in particular, it is still less sympathetic than that of his cousin. The Kadjar rest here a little behind: his presentation is less neat, and the choice of materials leaves to be desired. In terms of technology, the gap is widening in favour of the vehicles of the PSA. Their combined instrumentation, digital are customizable, which is not the case at Renault. The central touch-screen, good definition, is pleasant and easy to use. The movement in the menus of the screen of the Kadjar is not a model of simplicity and the graphics do not shine by their quality or by their novelty. The fuel gauge, for its part, appears to be too imposing. Regarding ergonomics, the roles are reversed. The 3008 has a very nice dashboard, but it requires a period of adaptation. The C5 Aircross needle to be a better driver, but, as at Peugeot, some essential functions (like air conditioning) needed to pass through the central screen. This may take a long time and especially reduce the driver’s attention. The Kadjar is the most intuitive of the trio. The setting of the air-conditioning can be done easily by using a simple knob.

Deprived of this option, our C5 Aircross could accommodate three people of large size without difficulty. Another advantage of the SUV to the rafters: its modularity. Its three rear seats slide independently, enabling it to meet a variety of needs.
Comfort or dynamism, 3 or 4-cylinder engine
The first thing that one notices when one rushes to the wheel of the 3008, this is his bottom bracket consistent. Of course, it is based in the city, but it’s hard sometimes to find the point of skating. The 3-cylinder petrol 1.2-litre is smooth and linear. The 130 hp is sufficient to pull the 1320 kg of this SUV, but a few horses more would not hurt, in particular, to facilitate overtaking. Its braking bite, and its excellent transport links to the ground will be appreciated by the drivers athletes. The 3008 is also the only one of the three to have a sport mode that acts on the sound of the engine and which strengthens the direction. On this point, the C5 Aircross makes the difference, taking great care of its occupants.
