Why Porsche didn’t put before you? An SUV was profiled as a coupe: the idea originated with BMW with the X6 proved so inspired that it has not ceased to be emulated. It is now available in all sizes. BMW has become an expert in the area with the next au pair of the family X (X2, X4 and X6) in parallel with the classic range (X1, X3, X5 and X7). This silhouette seductive intends to marry the best of the SUV and the coupé: four doors, four seats and a real trunk. In the Volkswagen group, after the Audi Q8 and the Lamborghini Urus, it is the turn of Porsche to abide by instilling a healthy dose of sportiness to the Cayenne.

The designers house are returned to their studies in order to deliver a model that clearly stands out of the large SUV from Porsche. The profile slender is based on a windshield more raked and a flag lowered by 20 mm that integrates to the top of the rear window is a roof spoiler adaptive. It unfolds to 135 mm from 90 km/h to improve downforce at the rear axle and to reduce the aerodynamic drag. At the same time, drivers are placed at the rear of this unique coupé SUV will find that the shoulder line is enlarged to 18 mm. The Cayenne Coupe will be available of series, from the month of may, with a fixed panoramic roof flooding the interior with light thanks to its glass surface of 0.92 m2. The architecture of the coupé, the new Cayenne retains the principle 2 + 2 with four individual seats. Those in the back have a seat lowered by 30 mm compared to the Cayenne in order to preserve a guard to the roof proper. Without a price supplement, a rear seat bench 2 + 1 will, however, be proposed. The high inclination of the rear window degrades logically the versatility of the coupe Cayenne. The loading volume has dropped from 140 liters. The Cayenne Coupe ad a capacity of 625 1 540 litres with rear seats folded down. For its part, the Turbo model is even less well off with 600 and 1 510 l.
